About us
We are a couple who opened a little shop in November 2022 in La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz). Our original idea was a shop specialising in whiskies, and we travelled to London to do our research; hence the name Alambique & Barril (the still and the barrel, the two essential tools for making whisky). On our return we soon realised there was no such market here, and we quickly turned to the world of wine, which we are now in love with. That is how we turned our passion into our profession.
Wine by wine
We choose every wine personally and work directly with the wineries. Before putting a wine on sale we run blind comparative tastings, sometimes even against renowned brands, to discover the wines, wineries and projects that move us and leave their mark.
