AppearanceViolet cherry in colour.
NoseOn the nose, wild hedgerow fruit, violets and aromatic, minty herbs stand out.
PalateOn the palate it is savoury and fruity, with notes of raspberries and blueberries, violet sweets and well-integrated smoky notes to the fore.
PairingIdeal to enjoy with pasta, rice dishes, tapas and white meats.
Winemaking
From a plot in the southern part of Labastida, it is also made by the traditional “carbonic maceration” method, but with one difference. After the alcoholic fermentation, 50% of the wine ages for twelve months in French oak barrels; the other 50% simply rests in concrete tanks. Then it is blended, and enjoyed!
